Our Mission
A faith-based high school specializing in serving students with learning differences and providing a personalized education.
Our Vision
By 2030-2031, the freshman class will be graduating seniors ready to go to Universities or begin working in their fields of choice.

Why Saint Margaret
Saint Margaret of Costello (1287- 1320) was an Italian Catholic Educator. She was blind and had other physical disabilities. She became known for her deep faith and holiness.
Our school is named after Saint Margaret of Costello because of the life she lived in faith and caring for children; all while living with her own disabilities. We are a high school that is meant to support both typical and neurodivergent learners.
Saint Margaret Academy will cater to students who require additional academic support and a customized program, to actively learn and grow during their high school years.
We create a welcoming and accepting environment where they can both thrive and learn.
SMA provides small class sizes, learning support, and an individual learning plan to meet the needs of each student.
For the 2026-2027 school year, SMA will partner with Catholic Virtual to provide coursework for all of the freshman level courses during the mornings.
In the afternoons, SMA will provide work study/internship opportunities so that students will gain real work experience to support them in their life journey.

Our first POD of students will receive their education through Catholic Virtual, a fully accredited online learning institution. Students can choose coursework that will track them to receive a high school diploma. Students who need remediation or modifications of any course will work with the administration to find an individual online course to support their needs. The religion coursework will be optional; students can select a different elective from the Catholic Virtual menu.

Students will complete their coursework by mid-afternoon. The administrative team will then support learners to find an internship and/or work study program that interests them. Some examples could be in culinary, law enforcement, criminal justice, park & recreation, etc. Student athletes can also benefit from this special program designed to leave afternoons available to pursue their sport.
